Let's go shopping! Counting money to buy gifts

Grades: Pre-K

Student Instructions

Do you have enough money to buy all of these gifts? Count your dollars and cents to see! Everything that we buy at the store costs money. The price tag tells us how much each present costs. Read the number to know how much money you need to give the store to buy the present. If you need help identifying the number, count the number of stars next to the price! On the last page, take a picture or draw a toy that you would like to buy. Decide how much it costs and move that number of dollars into the box to buy your toy! Here is how you do it: 1) Click on the add to open your journal 2) Read the number on each page and then use the move to slide the dollars or cents into the box to buy the present on each page 3) On the last page - you can decide what you want to buy! Use the photo or pen to take a photo or draw a picture of a toy that you want to buy. Use the move to slide how many dollars that the toy costs.
