Student Instructions

link to go to the Scholastic Learn at Home website.
Scroll down to “Day 1 - Animal Sciences: Rabbits”.
Listen to the two books (fictional and factual) and watch the video.
Respond to the activity in this Seesaw post using the attached template.
Take a picture of how far you can jump.
Write the number to tell how many centimetres/“feet” you jumped.
Record yourself telling how far you jumped.
JK extension - Make your number using the ten frame.
SK extension - Make your number using base 10 blocks.
Press the green check mark to submit your work.

Students will listen to the stories and watch the video posted on the “Scholastic Learn at Home” website. They will then measure how far they can jump and document this in Seesaw by taking a picture, writing the number, recording their voice, and making the number in either a place value chart or a 10-frame.
