Time to apply math concepts, such as perimeter and measuring to a room in your home. You will need a measuring tool. Ask a parent if there is a measuring tape in the house. If not, a ruler or yardstick will also work. Sometimes you might even need to use your feet if you do not have a measuring tape or a ruler. 1, Choose a room to measure. 2. Use the measuring tape to measure each side of the room. 3. Take a photo of the room. 4. Click label and mark the measurements for each side. 5. Now, you will need to calculate the perimeter of the room. The perimeter is the boundary of the room, the outside edge. 6. Click caption and complete the sentence "The perimeter of the room is ____ inches. 7. Then click mic to record how you completed the activity.
