Fun Fact : Porcupines are great at finding food—they're nocturnal and will forage for up to 9 hours a night, seeking out bark from trees and digging up roots to eat. At the zoo the porcupines love snacking on fruits, veggies and branches, and they're great at finding them too! Their care staff hide them around their habitat for them to forage.

Create your own quills! Find objects around your house that can function in the same way a porcupine's quills do. Maybe toothpicks and popsicle sticks in an empty can or ball of clay? Or go outside and collect sticks and pinecones—develop your porcupine armor, and share a photo.
You can create snack scavenger hunts too! Find some snacks that are in a package or put them in a baggie and hide them for someone else to find. You can create puzzle feeders with paper towel tubes or boxes. Take a video of someone solving your puzzle feeder or looking for snacks
