Extension activity- Mixtures

*Before we begin, let us reflect on what we have already learned: Everything is made up of matter, and particles are tiny bits of matter. There are different kinds of particles with different sizes and different properties. Click on the link to listen to learn about how we can make Mixtures by combining different things to make new things. Then go on the template below and pick your favorite picnic food and draw it on the plate. Use the label tool to add words that describe the properties of the food. A Scientist looks at.... Temperature Color Size and Texture....to describe properties. You can use the vocabulary words on slide 2 if you need some help. * Optional Challenge: What is your favorite food mixture? Use the mic tool to tell me!
