Thanks to Jack Hartmann. This video provides many skills for phonemic awareness and phonics combined with handwriting. 1. The writing in the air is the first step to provide multi-sensory information to help send information to long term memory. 2. The practicing writing with their finger would be the second step. 3. The students then write on the computer/tablet independently. 4. Writing on paper would then be the transfer step. (Letter pathway is adapted from Fundations to help students better understand the direction of the b.) The repetition of the words is a way to help students make the letter correctly. It also build auditory memory. Standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.1.D, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.2.D, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.3.A, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.K.1.A, CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.K.2.C
