We learned about how some people live in Rwanda and Chile and we learned how to knit hats with KidKnits. After you finish your hat, reflect on your KidKnits experience.
1. Fill out the KidKnits reflection page.

Add this Seesaw activity to your journal.

Take a picture of yourself holding your hat. You can take a selfie or ask a friend to take your picture.
4. 
Use the voice tool to tell about your KidKnits experience. Be sure to read all of your ideas on your reflection page.

Our class worked with the KidKnits program to learn about how some people live in Rwanda and Chile, while also learning how to knit hats to donate to people in our local community. The special project tied into our social studies unit about countries as well as our social-emotional unit about empathy. You can learn more about KidKnits here: http://kidknits.org
