30/03 Maths - Measuring Length with your handprint

Your Task: 1. Use a pencil to trace around your hand. 2. Cut it out carefully. 3. Use your handprint to measure the LENGTH of 6 different large objects in your house/classroom. For example, a bench, a table, your bed, your bathtub or your rug. *** Be careful and make sure you line your handprint up with the edge of the object and use your finger to show where to place the handprint when you move it. See EXAMPLE photos below. 4. Tap Record your measurements in the table - Tap to type the name of the object and how many handprints long it was. 5. You might like to your findings as well. Have fun!
