Internal and external STRUCTURES help organisms survive. 1. Choose one of the organisms you'd like to learn more about. 2. Watch the video, observe the different internal and external STRUCTURES the animal has. 3. Record your learning in words and pictures in your learning journal --name at least 3 EXTERNAL STRUCTURES the animal/plant has --name at least 1 INTERNAL STRUCTURES the animal/plant has 4. Watch the video again. Now look for evidence that those STRUCTURES have a special FUNCTION to keep the animal alive. 5. Add your new learning about the FUNCTION of each structure to your notes.
