Kindergarten Unit 9 Week 2: Compare and Contrast Realistic Fiction and Informational Text

Reread or listen to "A Birthday Wish List" (Shared Read #2)and "Trading Needs for Wants" (Shared Read #3) 1. Tap the button 2. Look carefully at the Venn Diagram. Notice the three colors. In the yellow section, use the tool to draw something that you noticed that was the same in BOTH Shared Reading Texts. 3. In the red section, draw something that makes you know that this is a realistic fictional (fake/not real) story. 4. In the green section, draw something that makes you know that this is informational (real) text. 5. Use the to describe what you drew and why you drew it. Remember to start with Yellow, then red and green. ***Remember to listen to your recording. 6. Tap the green when you are finished!
