Puzzlement

This is a big Puzzlement! How do horns amplify sound? Why are they flared at the ends? And how do airhorns work? These questions lead to some fun explorations including a giant horn, jiggling jello, calculating the speed of sound, and just how our hearing works. 1. Explore the site by READING the information, WATCHING the video, and CLICKING on the links. 2.
