Teachers, save “Fluency Friday” to assign it to your class.

On Fridays you will read a short passage aloud on Seesaw. To do this, choose a Newsela article, or a page from a book you enjoy. Click the add button. Then screen shot the passage you will read. Practice reading the passage until you can read every word clearly in a smooth conversational manner. Finally, use the record tool to record yourself reading the passage aloud. Remember, you will only have 2 minutes of recording time. An example is attached.
