Student Instructions
Today you will be playing Double Up to practice the double a doubled double strategy. Your goal is to play for 5-10 minutes and complete as many problems as you can!
1. Click button to start.
2. Read the direction for how to play that game on page
1. Go to the second page
to play the game.
3. Click play ▶️ and pause
on the die 🎲 to roll. Repeat this process for each roll.
4. After you roll, count the dots on the die and make that your first factor. Write that number in the first box.
5. The multiply the number by 8 using the double a double strategy. Write that answer in the product box. Use any other tools to show your thinking if you need to.
6. Create and answer as many problems as you can in 5-10 minutes.
7. On the last page
, click the microphone
and read each fact aloud with the answer. If you are not sure of the answer share your thinking. You may use any tool to show your thinking and work.
8. Click
the check to submit your game.
