Student Instructions

In this activity, you need to write two cinquain poems. Choose your topics from the attached choice board. Use the label tool in the templates provided to write your chosen topics, brainstorm your ideas and write your own cinquains. Remember that a cinquain poem has five lines, and follows the syllable pattern 2, 4, 6, 8, 2. When you have finished writing, check/edit your work. Make sure that you have: - A title - Five lines - Correct syllable count on each line - Capital letters and punctuation (where needed) - Correct spelling - Writing that makes sense.
