This term our Topic work is based around nature and how artists are inspired by what is around them. Take part in our Virtual Garden tour, click the link on the 1st page and browse the choice of garden tours, once you have selected which one you would like to watch, click watch now to begin the video tour! Think about the sights, sounds and smells that you would expect when visiting this garden. How does this make you feel? What are your favourite bits? Most beautiful? You can rewatch the tour as many times as you like, or select another video tour to watch. Next, select your choice of activity on the next page. Once you have chosen what activity (or activities) you want to do, select add to begin. You can delete the template pages if you have not chosen those activities, or select addpage to complete your activity. 1. Write your own garden poetry. Click the link to learn about Acrostic and Shape poems. Then, have a go at creating your own using label to write them or upload a photo of your poem! 2. Garden Review Write a review for your garden tour. Complete the template using label. How many stars would you give it? What was your favourite part? Get descriptive with your review and describe all the (virtual) sights, sounds and smells of your tour. 3. Garden Blueprint. Design your own dream garden, use the template and pen and shapes to draw your design or find pictures and upload. What would your dream garden contrain? A waterfall? Treehouse? Wishing well? 4. Create recycled flower art. Create a flower collage using recycled items or old paper around your home.
