Teachers, save “Band Instruments” to assign it to your class.

This week I want you to take a look at the website attached and start deciding what instrument you might like to play next year in band. In our orchestra unit, we learned that there are 4 families in the orchestra. Strings, Brass, Woodwind, and Percussion. In our school band we do not have one of the families.....the String Family. Please read about, and listen to instruments from the list below and choose your top 3 instruments that you would like to play. Grade 6: Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Flute, Clarinet, Other choices available in Grade 7: Alto, Tenor, Baritone Saxophone, French Horn, Bass Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Percussion Choose a Grade 6 instrument for your first choice and then any of the other instruments for your second and third. Make a or or and tell me your 3 choices and why you chose them.
