Student Instructions
1. Read the base word. Look at the end of the word.
2. If the base word ends in a consonant + "y", then change the "y" to an "i" and add "-es". If the base word ends in a vowel + a "y" you will only add an "s" to the end.
3. Use and type the plural form of the base word in the second column.
4. Repeat for all words on the page.
5. Choose one of your plural words and type a sentence in the bottom box.
6. Tap
and read all words and the sentence you typed.
7. Complete Pages 1-3.
8. When finished, click
to submit your work to your journal.

Learning Intention: I am learning that base words ending in a consonant + "y" need to change to make the word plural by replacing the "y" with "i" and adding "-es". Success Criteria: -I can transform a base word into a plural word with correct spelling.
