Page 1- Watch the video of the read aloud for the book "The Mermaid". As you listen to the story compare it to the original "Goldilocks" story and think about how they are alike and different.
Page 2- Complete the venn diagram comparing "The Mermaid" and "Goldielocks". Use the 
tool to share how the stories are alike and different. Click the 
on the Goldilocks book cover to view Jan Brett's version of the original.
Page 3- In the first box use the tool and 
to share which version of Goldilocks you like the best, be sure to tell why you liked it the most. In the second box draw your favorite character from the story, be sure to use the tool to write the character's name.
