This activity was adapted from a Better Lesson on Betterlessons.com https://betterlesson.com/lesson/537101/frame-the-story-with-informational-text created by Andrea Prought of Oswego, IL: Summarizing and using Main Idea and supporting details. This lesson has students create a "frame story" using the Frame Story app for iPads, to help summarize what the main idea is of a chapter in an informational text. You can teach the lesson and have students complete this in conjunction with the assignment or you can assign it as a stand alone assignment. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/ Made using Canva for Education
