Task: Design and create a kite out of recycled items. Include our school logo on your kite. This will be our major Design and Technologies project this term. Before you start designing or creating however, you need to complete the following research. Investigate ways kites have been used throughout history, create a list of dot points that outline your findings. Investigate and report on the different materials that have been used to make kites through history. What are the characteristics and properties of these materials. Press to share your investigation results (I have given you one example per question to help get you started). Once complete, spend some time researching different styles of kites that may assist you with your design (you do not need to include your findings).
