Selfie Science: Matter Changes (Matter Notebook #10)

Atoms are the building blocks of matter. Matter can undergo physical or chemical changes. A physical change is a change in matter that does not change the type of matter that it is. A chemical change is a change in matter where atoms rearrange themselves and bond together to form one or more new substances. The purpose of this Selfie Science is to change matter at home. 1. Conduct a physical change of matter. Take photos and/or videos to document this change. 2. Conduct a chemical change of matter. Take photos and/or videos to document this change. 3. Use the App of your choice to create a video about your physical and chemical changes. Be sure to explain your thinking. Use the appropriate vocabulary words to explain the changes. 4. Add to this Activity.
