Children to use a drawing app/software to create their mash-up mini-beast. Can they add it to their learning journal and record fun fictional facts about their mini-beast? You could also ask the children to type up their new mini-beast facts. Here are some suggestions: Butterspider: A mix between a butterfly and a spider. It has the body of a spider with colorful butterfly wings. Caterpillarfly: A mix between a caterpillar and a dragonfly. It has the body of a caterpillar with dragonfly wings and large eyes. Snadybug: A mix between a snail and a ladybug. It has the body of a snail with the shell patterned like a ladybug. Grasshopperant: A mix between a grasshopper and an ant. It has the body of an ant with long grasshopper legs for jumping. Wormbee: A mix between a worm and a bee. It has the body of a worm with bee wings and antennae. Spiderpillar: A mix between a spider and a caterpillar. It has the body of a caterpillar with eight spider legs. Beetlefly: A mix between a beetle and a butterfly. It has the body of a beetle with colorful butterfly wings. Anterfly: A mix between an ant and a butterfly. It has the body of an ant with large butterfly wings. Cricketworm: A mix between a cricket and a worm. It has the body of a worm with cricket legs and antennae. Mothant: A mix between a moth and an ant. It has the body of an ant with large moth wings.
