Language: Tuesday - Narrative Writing: The Clockwork Man's Story

Use the attached image and question prompts to help you write a story about the clockwork man's life. Question Prompts - Where and when was the clockwork man made? - Who built the clockwork man? (an inventor, a mechanic, a child....) - What was he designed to do? - Is he helpful, funny, annoying or dangerous? - Does the clockwork man go wrong? - Does he survive or is he made into something else? 1. Create a new Google Doc, call it The Clockwork Man. Once you have written the first draft of your story share it with your teacher, who will read it, and add comments to help you edit it. 2. Use different times connectives to sequence the events in you story, for example, after a while, before that, finally, in the end, meanwhile, next etc. 3. Please remember to carefully reread and edit your writing, check your punctuation and organisation; - Do you have capital letters, full stops, commas, exclamation and question marks in the right places? _ Have you organised your sentences into paragraphs?
