Hispanic Heritage Month: My Family Heritage

Student Instructions

Slide 1: 1. Rewatch 👀 the read aloud 🎞 Pepe and the Parade. 2. Use the photo tool to take a picture 📸 of yourself and two 👥family members. 3. Then use the pen or the label tool to answer the question about your ancestors and the languages your family speaks. Slide 2: 1. Pepe describes some holidays his family celebrates, important traditions, and things that his family likes doing together (watch the video if you need a reminder). 2. Use the photo tool to take pictures or use the pen and pencil tools to draw and describe celebrations, traditions, and things that are part of your family. Slide 3: 1. Think back to the book, Pepe and the Parade, and use the pen tool to write a sentence or draw a picture that shows how you and Pepe are alike. 2. Use the mic tool to record yourself reading the sentence or telling me how you and Pepe are alike. 3. Turn in your work by clicking on the check icon.
