Student Instructions

Playdough is a wonderful way to express your ideas, feelings and stories! Grab the playdough we sent home in the first supply bag, along with the small coloured sticks, feathers, pipe cleaners along with other little things you'd like to use in your creation. Other ideas are: cork, glass gems, sticks, leaves, thin wire... Think of what you'd like to create with the play dough and the other items and begin to create with play dough! Try to take some photos during the creation process and a photo of what you have made at the end. Share the photos to your "HOW I EXPRESS MYSELF PORTFOLIO" The "HOW I EXPRESS MYSELF PORTFOLIO" was shared last week as an activity on Seesaw ***Supporting adults - remember how the end product looks is NOT IMPORTANT. It is the PROCESS OF CREATION that the focus should be on. So, allow your child to think of an idea and let them create it. DO NOT MAKE IT FOR THEM! We are not looking for perfection. In the classroom, we may them some suggestions and ideas, but we certainly would not do it for them. Thanks for your supporting with this!*** Learning Intentions: To demonstrate creativity To develop fine motor skills To demonstrate independence
