25.3.20 - LI: To read a visual text

Today you are going to use all your storytelling and filming skills we have learned so far to "read a visual text". You will be watching a scene taken from a Disney movie. I won't tell you the name just yet! Watch the video. Watch it again! Think about: ** The story, characters and setting ** Camera shots and angles ** Sound effects and music ** Dark and light ** Body language and facial expressions ** Atmosphere and feeling ** Pace - do things speed up or slow down? Bonus Questions: How do you think the storyteller wanted the audience to feel? Do you think they did a good job? Explain. Record your thoughts about the film trailer. Try to answer all the questions. Feel free to express your ideas and opinions. Save your work.
