Student Instructions

There will be a class debate. The topic will be: Graffiti is illegal for a reason 1. The teacher will divide the class in two groups and you will either argue 'for' the topic, or 'against' the topic. 2. Debate preparation - tap add to open the note and answer the questions: • Which Discuss graffiti- what are the different ways that it is used? • Why is it illegal? • How is it a form of art? Then start to research and write five points of argument for your side. 3. You and your team will be given time to put all of your arguments together and preparation. 4. NOTE: The class is to be split into two different groups ‘for’ and ‘against’. They will time to individually research and write arguments. They will also need most of the lesson to collate their arguments for the topic. The class will then carry out a debate on this topic.
