Explore the work of French artist Edgar Degas (1834-1917). Although typically considered part of the French Impressionist movement, Degas’ rejected the categorization calling himself an “independent” with artistic interests in Realism. He is most noted for his depictions of dancers, of which we include three here. 1. Tap link to visit the interactive Doodle Degas activity. 2.
