Teachers, save “Create a story basket” to assign it to your class.

Can you collect a selection of items/toys around the house which may help you to invent your own story. I have included some picture examples. How to create your own story: This game can be played with 2 or more players. The first player is to pick up an item from the basket and start the story e.g Once upon a time there lived a dog (if the player had selected a dog). Can you take it in turns to select an item from the basket and use it to add a line to your story. You can choose to end the story wherever you like but think about whether your story has a beginning, middle and an end? Is there a problem in your story? How will it be solved? Can you either voice record your story for me to listen to or you can draw a story board of the story you have created? I have attached a story board for you to use. Have fun !
