Student Instructions

Information Seeker & Knowledge Constructor: I can locate information from print and/or digital sources, sort evidence into categories, and provide a list of sources. Last week, you explored some online databases and submitted 3 possible topics you might like to research. Today, you'll choose ONE topic and take notes on two categories of information within your larger topic. 1. Watch the attached video with instructions. (6 minutes) 2. In another tab, open our 4/5 Media website and find an article in one of the online databases about the topic you've chosen. Choose any topic, as long as it's new to you. 3. Find 2 or 3 facts from two separate categories. You can write these on a separate sheet of paper or type them right into your Seesaw response. If you took notes on a separate page, you can just upload a photo of those notes, or you can type them into Seesaw. Directions for typing in Seesaw are below. WHEN YOU'RE READY... 1. Tap add to add your response. 2. Use the label tool to type into each box. You'll type in your topic, your categories, two or three facts, and your source. 3. Tap check to submit. *NOTE: If you don't have time to finish and want to save this as a draft, click draft instead of check and finish your notes another day.
