Student Instructions

Today you will continue our mini theater project by moving on to the next step. When you are finished with this step of the project, DO NOT THROW YOUR PUPPETS AWAY! Find somewhere safe to put them. Today you will be creating your own puppets for your mini puppet theater. You will want to think of a part of a story you know or make up a short story of your own that you will want to make into a short play to perform with your puppets in your theater. Today you will plan out your performance - the beginning, middle, and end - on a piece of paper. Watch the video demo on how to plan out your performance and how to make your puppets simply using these supplies most of which can be found in your art kit: -white paper -pencil -coloring supplies -glue/tape -scissors -some kind of stick (popsicle stick, small twigs, coffee stirrers, straws, etc) And of course, pause the video if you need more time with a step! You will have lots of time to create good puppets. This project is not due until next Friday. Annnnnd REMEMBER: DO NOT THROW IT AWAY! Find somewhere safe to put it. When you're done with your planning and your puppets, click add . You will be adding a picture of your planning on the left side of the page and add a video of your puppets explaining who they are on the right side. Click the check when you are done.
