Teachers, save “Creating Your Puppets” to assign it to your class.

Today you will continue our mini theater project by moving on to the next step. When you are finished with this step of the project, DO NOT THROW YOUR PUPPETS AWAY! Find somewhere safe to put them. Today you will be creating your own puppets for your mini puppet theater. You will want to think of a part of a story you know or make up a short story of your own that you will want to make into a short play to perform with your puppets in your theater. Today you will plan out your performance - the beginning, middle, and end - on a piece of paper. Watch the video demo on how to plan out your performance and how to make your puppets simply using these supplies most of which can be found in your art kit: -white paper -pencil -coloring supplies -glue/tape -scissors -some kind of stick (popsicle stick, small twigs, coffee stirrers, straws, etc) And of course, pause the video if you need more time with a step!
