WALT (we are learning to) scoop, estimate, and write the number of objects on the tens and ones mat. 1.Grab a few handfuls of the same item and ESTIMATE or make a SMART GUESS about how many items your jar will hold. 2. Test to see how many they actually hold. 3. Sort your objects by tens and ones, using the place value mat. Then count to see what your number is. 4. Take a picture of your jar, write down you number & post it on Seesaw.
