Watch the video instructions (link to the left) Click on add to start the activity. On the first slide, use the move tool to place the 🔴 on the term you feel does not belong. Use the pen, label or mic tool to explain your reasoning. On the second slide, use the move tool to identify the parts of the algebraic equation. On the 3rd slide, use the pen or highlighter tool to find your way through the maze by simplifying each expression. Be sure to show your work to at least 3 problems on slide 4 using the pen or photo tool. Rate your level of understanding on page 5 by using the highlighter tool. In this activity, student's will identify parts of an algebraic expression using correct mathematical terms, identify what they perceive as like terms and use their knowledge of combining like terms to simplify algebraic expressions. At the end, there is a quick check for understanding where students rate their knowledge on a scale of 0-5.
