Student Instructions

Show what you know about symmetry by designing and coloring the wings of the butterfly in a symmetrical way! 1. Tap add to start the activity. 2. Using the drawing tool, choose different colors and line thicknesses to create a design on ONE wing. 3. After the one wing is complete, create the symmetrical partner on the other wing. 4. Use the red rec tool (found inside Drawing drawing) to record yourself describing the symmetry of your butterfly. While you're speaking, use the arrow to point to aspects of your symmetrical design. **Optional: Use the mic tool to explain what you know about symmetry. 5. Add your name using the label tool. 6. Tap the check to add to your journal.
