His mother threw 2 beans out the window. Then she threw 3 more out the window. How many beans did she throw out the window altogether? 1. Mark the numbers in the story. 2. Use the tool and toss 2 of one color bean out the window. 3. Then toss out 3 of the other color bean. 4. Tell how many beans you tossed out the window. 5. Write how many beans Jack's mom threw out the window altogether. OR 6. You can yourself acting out the problem with real or pretend beans. Make sure you tell how many you threw out altogether. 7. Click on the green to save your work. Challenge: Write the number sentence to match the story problem.
