Student Instructions

Matter is anything that takes up space. Objects are made up of matter. You can describe an object by talking about its color, texture, shape, odor or size. When you compare objects you talk about how they are alike and how they are different. When you compare two objects made of the same matter you can talk about mass (weight), volume (amount of space it takes up) and length. Let's compare two of the same objects that are different amounts. How are they the same? How are they different? 1. Click add to add your response. 2. Watch the short video on slide two. 3. Choose two of the same objects. Compare them using the table. You can record yourself using the video or mic to answer or fill in the table using the label. 4. Click the check to submit your response.
