Building and strengthening resilience helps children overcome adversity and thrive. The story teaches the reader how to manage one's emotions and respond to situations that involve feeling left out, sadness and confusion. The book along with the journal prompts and activities help students identify one's own sense of empathy, purpose, self-esteem and builds one's relationship skills with others.
