Creating a column graph

Grades: 4th Grade, 3rd Grade
Subjects: Math

Student Instructions

You are going to create a column graph of your own. You will use the data you collected last week on the different eye colours in our grade. Your graph could be vertical or horizontal. 1. Click add to respond to the activity. 2. Add a label label or use the drawing tool drawing to fill out the question box. 3. Using the label or the drawing , fill out the table with your data about eye colour. Use tally marks to show the amount for each. 4. Then use the drawing to create your own column graph that represents the eye colour data. Use the template to help you. Your graph could be vertical or horizontal. Think about the scale of your graph (increments of 1, 2 or 5? Which will be best for the data?) 5. Don't forget to add a title for your graph. 6. Add 2-3 statements about the data you have presented.
