By reading and listening to stories you can help your child get to know sounds, words and language, and develop early literacy skills. They will learn to value books and stories, spark your child's imagination and stimulate curiosity......always let them explore the pictures in the story. What is your child’s favourite book.? We like to read Julia Donaldson books at our house. I’m sure your child has a favourite book/story that they know really well? Ask your child if they would like to read a story to all their friends and video or record their voice......click to upload their video or recording and we will share them with the class. Please remember that your child will not be reading the words, they can use the pictures to tell the story or their memory of the repetition of story telling.
