Student Instructions
For Chromebooks, Laptops, and Desktops:
1. Tap 
2. Use the 
tool to write in the note names.
3. Click the 
to practice along. COOL TIP: In the video, you can tap the little icon on the bottom right-hand side of the video and you can change the tempo or speed of the music! Yay!
4. Come back to Seesaw and click 
to record the song.
5. Jump back to the tab with the video ad play along.
6. Click back to Seesaw and pause the recording.
7. Click the green 
to approve your music with the note names.
For iOS Devices:
1. Tap
2. Use the tool to write in the note names.
3. Click the and practice along (you can change the tempo!)
4. When ready, use the screen record tool on your device to record yourself playing along with the video.
5. Come back to this Seesaw page and click the 
so you can upload the video you took.
6. Click the green to submit.
7. Click again to submit.
Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
For music education, recording with an accompaniment background is challenging. This activity shows your students how to do it, but requires different strategies for Chromebooks/Laptops/Desktops than it does for iOS devices. Therefore, I have included two sets of instructions.
