On Mondays will be starting a routine called "Genius Time". Let's practice with a "Series of 3" based on autumn leaves. 1. Choose your point of view: Will you select one leaf or a group? Work from life or from a photo? Spend a few minutes observing one or more leaves. What do you notice or find interesting? * Post a photo of your leaf/leaves 2. Choose your materials and process: Using materials available in the room, what would best show what you noticed? Some ideas: pencil, pen, or marker drawings, crayon drawings or rubbings, oil or chalk pastel drawings, torn or cut paper collage, watercolors, tracing. Work in your sketchbook or on separate piece(s)of paper 3. Choose your composition: The 3 studies can be all on the same page or on different pages. They can be combined into one composition or 3 separate compositions, all in one art material, each in different materials, or a mix of materials 4. Post photos of your studies in Seesaw with captions 5. Edit the reflection template
