Dance is a form of expression and a creative process to express yourself, your culture, or groups you might be a part of. It's also a fantastic way to exercise, and build relationships with others. Most dances were passed down by the elders, taught by them and were a way to show ‘pride’ in heritage and culture. For this unit, you'll learn about different dances across the world, capture and reflect on a dance yourself, and explore the benefits of dance as related to a form of exercise. Work through each of the activities in the interactive workbook attached. You'll need to work collaboratively with others, but should create your own videos using your iPad and reflect independently on each of the questions.
