Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This activity idea came from a learning strategy in DiscoveryEducation (DE). It consists of writing clues on the outside of the envelope and then tasking groups of students to write their predictions on sticky notes. This is followed up by viewing a video on the topic, or content being presented in this activity to see how close their predictions were. The envelope image can be found and edited on Canva, which anyone can sign-up for free, or you can bring an image in from the internet and add labels in Seesaw. This type of activity can be used to introduce a new topic, content, author, time period, etc. The sky's the limit! Feel free to use it and edit it as you wish :)
