Mystery Doug - "How Do We Know the Earth is Round?"

We now know that the Earth is round, but thousands of years ago people thought that the world was flat or even a cube! This Mystery Doug discusses how we know that the Earth is round by noticing other things around us. After you watch the video, try the activity! You'll be going on a shape hunt! 1. Click on the to watch the Mystery Doug video, "How Do We Know the Earth is Round?" 2. After watching the video, follow the directions on the next slide to try the activity! Click on the to hear the directions. You will be taking pictures of certain shapes around you or in your home! 3. When you are done, circle the baseball bat to let me know that you have done your work. 4. Click on the green checkmark to upload your work. As Doug always says, "Remember to stay curious!"
