Number Stories: Number Pairs

Mathematicians can make numbers in many ways using number pairs. For example: 4 can be 2 and 2, or 3 and 1, or 4 and 0! Look 👀 at the picture and listen👂 to this story: It's your job to feed the dolphins at the aquarium. They live in two tanks. How will you split up the fish into two groups to feed them? Use a number pair of 6. It does not have to be equal, one group can have more. Click below and use the pen to draw circles to show how many and write the numeral! Tap the check to finish.
