The purpose of this activity is to practice measuring with precision and accuracy. 1. Think of something to build out of cardboard or recycled materials: a hamster maze, a game, doll house, etc. 2. Design it. Label the lengths, widths, and heights on your plan. Use metric units. 3. Draw the pieces on cardboard. Be sure to measure with precision and accuracy. 4. Construct your design. Ask a parent to help with cutting. 5. Take photos of your plans, the building, and your finished project. 6. Record a summary of your construction. 7. Click the green check to save.
