Student Instructions

1. add 2. Read the problem carefully. 3. Pick a bag from the front board. 4. Tap photo to take a picture of the bag. *Remember: make sure we can see the bag number. 5. move the picture to the red box. 6. Use the label tool to write your first AND second predictions or estimates. 7. Pour out the cubes only AFTER you've made BOTH predictions. 8. Count the cubes. Hint: it may be helpful to make groups to pattern count! Remember: don't let anyone see or hear you so they don't know the answer before making their estimates! 9. Use the label tool to write the actual amount of cubes on the line. 10. rec to tell us which one of your estimates was the closest and how you know. 11. Bonus 1: take a picture of how you grouped your cubes to add to your work and label your pattern counting. 12. Bonus 2: tap caption to write an equation to show the difference between your closest estimate and the actual amount. 13. Check your work. 14. check 15. Add to your Math folder.
