Teachers, save “Computing Lesson 3: Re-writing a known song” to assign it to your class.

This week is the first in a two-part activity that will be completed next week. Today, you are going to think about the different elements of the song 'Stop the feeling' by Justin Timberlake. Using this information, you are then going to work in groups to re-write the lyrics based on the structure of the original song. Choose a topic that celebrates the year or experiences that you have had - the original song is a happy one! By the end of the lesson, your group should have re-written the song. If not complete in the lesson, you might like to continue it another time, but it needs to be complete before the next computing lesson when we will be recording. Re-write your lyrics in the Notes app, Pages or Google Docs.
