Student Instructions

It is my expectation that ALL students spend 20 minutes per day reading a "good fit" book. For some of you that will be an early chapter book. For some of you that may be a novel (a longer chapter book). Please review the example attached to ensure you know how to fill out the reading log, and how to pick a "good fit" book. Every day you should fill in the date and title of your book, then track your time (you can always read more than 20 minutes), and the number of pages read. ~ On slide 1: Use the label tool to enter this information on the reading log. You may do individual text boxes and resize them so that your information fits on 1 line, or you may do a large text box but you will still need to resize it to ensure your information fits in the appropriate spaces in the reading log. ~ On slide 2: Use the mic or the video to record yourself reading a paragraph from your reading. Please remember to introduce yourself and your book before you begin reading. Please listen to your recording to make sure it is loud enough and I can hear you clearly. ~You will only need to submit 1 recording per week to start.~ Everyday except Friday, you will press the draft to save your work after filling out the reading log. On Friday, after completing your reading log you will press check to submit your work.
