Student Instructions

Let's go on a Rainbow Walk! This is a simple, fun way to practice mindfulness using our sense of sight. Focusing on the world through a single sense is a powerful way to bring our body and mind into the present moment. In this practice, we use our keen sense of observation to slow down, notice and appreciate what is right in front of us! Materials: -School device, paper or small notebook -Colored crayons, pencils or markers How To Play: 1. Take a walk outdoors with a parent or go on a walk inside your home. 2. Slowly look for objects in the colors of the rainbow, in order, starting with red. For example, a red flower, an orange cone, a yellow leaf.... 3. When you've found all of your objects, click add to complete your mindful journal pages. 4. On the first page, either draw drawing what you find and or upload a picture if you draw what you found on paper OR take a picture by clicking photo then photo again. 4. Go to the second page, and complete the mindful journal questions using the mic or label tools. 6. When you've finished both mindful journal pages, click check to submit.
